This section showcases southern yellow pine from an old growth forest that has been sanded to remove the original face’s dark patina and reveal the wood’s lovely, tight grains. The aging process of almost a century will still leave some of the hues intact. Sanding can be done lightly, moderately, or heavily so you can get the precise shade and finish you want. Additionally, the “as is” original face’s rough and splintery texture will be smoothed off.
