Douglas fir floors have been sanded and finished and are now for sale. Following sanding, we apply a finishing process that utilizes natural oils and waxes to protect, preserve, and enhance the wood’s appearance. To prepare the wood for use as a tabletop, countertop, or other finished furniture, the roughness and finish must be removed while also bringing out the wood’s natural dark, warm color.
